Kaithal (HR), Oct 13 (PTI) A court today asked the Haryana Government to pay a compensation of Rs one lakh to a mentally- challenged rape victim, and awarded life term to the convict uncle. Pronouncing the judgement, Additional Sessions Judge R S Chaudhary directed the state Government to pay Rs one lakh compensation to the family of the 13-year-old girl, who was raped by her uncle in 2011. The victim's uncle was sentenced to life in prison by the court and also asked to pay a fine of Rs 25,000. The girl was raped by her uncle while she had gone to a village school for cleaning work in place of her mother in 2011. PTI COR SUN PMS
